Direct from the  grower

Here at Bamboo Grove nursery we grow a selection of the world's most beautiful bamboo plants that are suitable for Melbourne's diverse weather conditions. Although Australia is host to a vast range of bamboo not all species are suitable for Victoria.

From the popular screening Slender Weavers to the shade loving Nepalese Blue and exotic palm like Ghost, we have a large selection of non-invasive (clumping) bamboo plants from which to choose, that can be found on Screening prices page 1 and page 2.  We also grow Black, Golden and Red Cane (running) bamboo which are best grown in pots, these can be found on our Ornamental prices page.

As growers, we subject our bamboo plants to real world conditions - cold frosty nights of winter, the scorching heat of summer and the prevailing winds of all seasons. They have not come straight from a protected poly house or warmer climate, so therefore will have no trouble adjusting to your growing conditions. Photos from some of our happy customers can be found on our Testimonials page.

Our bamboo plants are lush and healthy, great value for money and available in various sizes to suit your budget. All photos and videos on our website are either taken at our nursery or are from our happy customers (double click images and videos to enlarge).

The Journey of a beautiful grove begins with a single bamboo."
